Gov. Jeff Landry, Baton Rouge officials to hold news conference on deadly Mall of Louisiana shooting
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry will join Louisiana State Police and the Baton Rouge Police Department for a news conference Friday afternoon to provide updates on the Mall of Louisiana mass shooting that left a high school senior dead and five others injured.

Police are responding to reports of a shooting at the Mall of Louisiana, WAFB reports. There are believed to be four to five victims near the food court, the station reports.
One person was killed and five others injured Thursday as gunfire rang out at the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge when an argument between two groups of people in the food court escalated into violence, police said.
