Gov. Jeff Landry, Baton Rouge officials hold news conference on deadly Mall of Louisiana shooting
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry will join Louisiana State Police and the Baton Rouge Police Department for a news conference Friday afternoon to provide updates on the Mall of Louisiana mass shooting that left a high school senior dead and five others injured.
All officers will receive at least a 15% raise, non-sworn employees will receive a 3.5% raise and the police chief will receive a 5.9% raise. The base pay for a sworn officer would be kicked up from about $41,
